Quabbin Regional School District offers a robust Multi-Tiered System of Support for all of our students Kindergarten- Grade 5. Students are assessed throughout the school year in both math and literacy.
- Teams of teachers and support staff meet every 6-8 weeks to hold data meetings by grade level.
- The team reviews results of recent assessments and develops a plan for intervention and/or enrichment.
- Students are assigned to small groups based upon their identified strengths and areas for growth.
- The team will determine an instructional focus for each student and design small group instruction to help accelerate their learning.
- Student performance will be progress monitored throughout this cycle.
- This data along with any additional benchmark data will inform the next 6-8 week cycle.
